Baby and Snow

I couldn't resist posting some more photos from today- especially because they are mostly of Caed. The snow stopped and gave way to some rain, as predicted and we took a couple of shots before Caed got too cold or wet! The snow was really wet- and it's so beautiful on the trees.

Snow

We love when it snows around here, and even more when there is a significant amount. Last Sunday it snowed briefly (First Photo) when we were out walking Khaki and pushing Caed is the stroller. It didn't last long but it was really coming down. We felt like we were in the middle of a blizzard!

This Sunday it's snowing again, and April, Khaki and I took a walk in it after we got home from church. The roads were hardly driven on at this point and we felt as though we were driving to some ski lodge far away from DC. But that's not reality, and this snow will become a hassle for all the city drivers around here. This snowfall is suppossed to be followed by some rain and maybe ice. Last Monday we were ready for Spring, but looks like winter isn't ready to give up yet! Meanwhile we'll keep trying to be patient and enjoy this snowfall too. (we love Khaki in her red coat!)

More Family

I thought I should inlcude a photo of my husband and son too. The one of Jonathan and Caedmon was taken this past Christmas out at his parents house in Southold, NY. The one of Caed and I was taken at the National Gallery of Art when April and I ventured out with Caed dowtown one day.

First Posting

So I've decided to jump into a blog. We'll see how successful I am with actually posting things. I thought this might be a good place to put pictures and occasionally something about life with us Peterson's here in DC. Maybe I'll only tell someone once I've posted more then one entry. This photo is of me and my three amazing sisters from the summer of 2005. Pre Caedmon, and pre April living with us.
